When Gautham Karthik was Asked if he was Gay ?

Actor Gautham Karthik, the son of Navarasa Nayagan made a huge mark in Kollywood with his debut in Mani Ratnam's Kadal, though the movie bombed at the box office his performance was widely appreciated. Here are some excerpts from his recent interview to Deccan Chronicle

On Competition with Adharva and Vikram Prabhu - "They are both my ‘big brothers’! No, I’ve never really thought of it like that — each of us are unique in our own ways and are trying to make our own mark. But when I see veteran actors like my dad and Prabhu uncle reminisce about the old days — it was like we were all one big family then. I wish we could be that way now".

Does he have a girlfriend ? “I don’t! And it’s because work is so hectic that it would be totally unfair on her and the relationship. But I did get asked out recently by a guy on Twitter once who asked me if I was gay — and I was like, Dude, I’m straight, but to each his own"

Dream role - I would love to play a mythological character on screen — something like a Maharaja or Aladdin. It would definitely challenge my skills and would be a new experience

Current obsession - Dyna, my Super Glide Custom Harley Davidson. She is truly the one true love of my life.
