The latest buzz going around in K'town is that Vijay has accepted to do a cameo in Sagaptham the debut movie of Vijayakanth's son Shanmuga Pandian. Sources add that Vijay has accepted this role has an thanksgiving gesture to the favour done by Vijayakanth in the early film career of Vijay.
Even Vijay's father Chandrasekhar who spoke at the Sagaptham launch said that after his maiden project with his son in Naalaya Theerpu he had lost a lot of money and it was this juncture did he feel that Vijay should do a film with an established actor and that's when Vijayakanth stepped in. SA Chandrasekar added Vijayakanth did the film for the free and ensured the movie was wrapped in quick time too. The movie in question was Senthoorapandi where both Vijay and Vijayakanth acted together.
