Cheran takes a dig at Commercial Cinemas

One of the ace director of Kollywood Cheran is targeting Valentine's day to release his JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai. The Director had this to say on his upcoming release and state of cinema today

வணக்கம் நண்பாஸ்..... 

film முடிஞ்சு releaseகு ரெடியா இருக்கு... feb 14th காதலர் தினத்தன்று நண்பனின் வாழ்க்கையை உங்களோடு பகிரலாம் என நினைக்கிறேன்... ஒவ்வொரு சினிமாவிலும் ஒவ்வொரு புது விஷயம் கற்றுக்கொள்வேன்... இந்த சினிமாவும் எனக்கு நிறைய கற்றுக்கொடுத்திருக்கிறது... 

எதற்காக இந்த போராட்டம்...

 நல்ல சினிமாவை காதலித்து தானே சென்னை நோக்கி ஓடி வந்தோம் உறவுகளை ஒதுக்கி, நண்பர்களை மறந்து, காதலியைக்கூட பிரிந்து அவளுக்கும் மேலே காதலித்த சினிமாவை நோக்கி வந்தோமே.... அந்த சினிமா இப்போது எப்படி இருக்கிறது.... எங்கே சிக்கிகொண்டு இருக்கிறது... 

சினிமாவை வெறும் குத்தாட்ட அழகியாக நினைத்து எல்லோரும் மாறி மாறி கற்பழிக்கிறார்கள் வணிகம் என்ற பெயரில்... அவர்களுக்குள் இருந்து என் காதலியை மட்டும் மீட்டுக்கொண்டு எங்காவது ஓடி விட வேண்டும்போல இருக்கு... அப்படிப்பட்ட என் மானசீக காதலிக்கு இந்த படத்தில் நட்பின் அருமை உணரும் வேடம்... காதல் இல்லாத ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் இல்லாத ... 

ஆஆஆ..... ஊஊஊ என கத்தாத இறைச்சல் இல்லாத அதே நேரம் காசு கொடுத்து பார்க்கும் உங்களின் வாழ்க்கைக்கு மிக நெருங்கிய சினிமா.... மிக உயர்ந்த தரத்தில் அதிக செலவில் எடுத்துள்ளேன்... என்னை முற்றிலும் புதுப்பித்த்து.... இதற்கு முன் நான் செய்த எந்த படத்தின் சாயலும் இல்லாமல் உணர்வைதவிர.... உங்கள் ஆதரவை மட்டுமே எப்பவும் போல நம்பி.... but இந்த சினிமாவோடு என் காதலியை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு எங்கோ போய்....... இது "சேரன் எனும் நண்பனின் வாழ்க்கை".

Cheran Talks about Ajith Vs Vijay, Who is The Pongal Winner ?

One of the most reputed Director of Kollywood, Cheran recently posted a message on his social networking site on all the Thala-Thalapathy Fans who were discussing the success story of Jilla and Veeram. Cheran had this to say

பொங்கல் போட்டியில யாருக்கு வெற்றி...

ஜில்லாவா?... வீரமா?... 

இந்த ஆரோக்கியமான போட்டி சினிமா உலகத்துக்கு சம்பாரிச்சு தரப்போறது எத்தனையோ கோடிகள்... முதல் இடம் இரண்டாம் இடம் தாண்டி ரெண்டு பேருமே தனக்காக உருவாக்கி வச்சுருக்க ரசிகர் கூட்டம் இவுங்க ரெண்டுபேரோட படங்களையும் இன்னும் எதிர்பார்த்து காத்திருக்காங்கன்ற நிலைமை தான் இவ்வளவு கோடிகளை திரையுலகத்துக்கு சம்பாரிச்சு தருது... ஒரு வகையில் இது ஆரோக்கியம்தான்.... ஆனாலும் அந்த சராசரி பாமர ரசிகன் இன்னும் எதிர்பார்க்கிறான் என்பதே உண்மை... அந்த எதிர்பார்ப்பை இரண்டு படங்களும் பூர்த்தி செய்ததா?..

ஆகவே ரசிகர்களே.... உங்கள் தேவை அவர்களிடம் என்ன என்பதை உணர்த்துவது தான் நாகரீகம்... மாறாக கிண்டல் செய்து எழுதுவதை மாற்றி இன்னும் அவர்களை உயரம் கொண்டுபோக வித்திடுங்கள்...... இதனால் உங்களுக்கு நல்ல படங்களும்.... திரையுலகுக்கு நிறைய வருமானமும், நல்ல சிந்தனை உள்ள புதிய இயக்குனர்களுக்கு வாய்ப்பும் கிடைக்கலாம்.......

"This healthy competition is definitely bringing crores and crores of rupees to Tamil cinema's box office. Apart from holding first and second spot both Ajith and Vijay have special targeted audience, Which yields huge amount of money to Tamil cinema but the truth is many common audience are expecting something big from both Ajith and Vijay. Did both Veeram and Jilla satisfy those expectations?"

"It's really sad to see that fans of both actors abusing each other on various platform like Facebook and Twitter. Ajith and Vijay have reached such great heights because of the common audience.Both Vijay and Ajith have great maturity to understand what a fans needs, if you people write them your expectations and taste they will follow it for sure."

"Instead of teasing them, fans should write their honest comments, So that both of them will reach even greater heights Audience will then see more good films and Tamil cinema will get good revenue, also directors who have good thought process might get the much needed chance".

Director Cheran's Announcement Shocks Kollywood Industry

Director Cheran earlier today took part at the Nimirindhu Nil's audio launch. Director Cheran who spoke at the event shocked the entire industry by announcing that his movie ‘JK Enum Nanbanin Vazhkai’ will be released on Internet, DVD and satellite cable, on the same day of its theatrical release. This announcement sent shockwaves across the K'Town has no other tamil movie has even attempted such a feat.

Cheran added that this method would totally eradicate piracy. The movie has already the censors with U certificate and is slated for release on December 20th. Sharwanand and Nithya Menen play the lead roles in the film. Music for the film is scored by GV Prakash Kumar.
