STR and Dhanush in Selvaraghavan's Next ?

It's a known fact that STR and Selvaraghavan project is all set to kick off from March. Varun Manian of Radiance media will be producing the much anticipated Selvaraghavan-STR project. Meanwhile there is a huge buzz currently floating about the film. The buzz is that Director Selvaraghavan who is on all time low with a huge commercial disaster in Irandam Ulagam is all set to have his younger brother Dhanush on board to perform a powerful role in this STR starrer. Sources add the the union of STR and Dhanush would create an amazing pre-release buzz and Selvaraghavan might utilize the buzz to the full. If STR and Dhanush indeed do come together this flick will definitely be one of the biggest blockbusters of year 2014.

Harris Jayaraj's Controversial Comment on Selvaraghavan & his Irandam Ulagam

Harris Jayaraj has been receiving some rave reviews for his work in Endrendrum Punnagai. The music director who spoke at the movie's success meet made some controversial comments on Selvaraghavan and his Irandam Ulagam movie.

Fans will be aware of the fact that Harris Jayaraj was part of Selva's big budgeted Irandam Ulagam and delivered a chartbuster of an album with Selva even calling him the King of Romance but out the blue Harris pulled out of the project and Selvaraghavan had to rope in Anirudh to complete the movie's background score. 

Harris who spoke at the event said Life is about the decisions we make and 4 months back he was faced with one such decision as he was working in two films simultaneously one a big budgeted movie(Irandam Ulagam) and the other the lite film Endrendrum Punnagai. At the point he had time to work for only one movie and it was at that juncture that he viewed Irandam Ulagam and called the movie producers after 2 days and informed that he couldn't be involved in the project furthermore.

Harris added he took 2 days time because he watched Endrendrum Punnagai at that point and realized this was a simple story that connected well with our audience and whereas Directors now are making too much complications. 

Harris concluded saying he knew Endrendrum Punnagai was a winner and was glad that he made that decision.

STR's Next is Officially Confirmed !

Young Superstar STR is currently into the second schedule of his untitled flick with Gautham Menon, The actor will also resume the second schedule of his untitled flick with Pandiraj which sees the star pairing up with Nayanthara after 7 years. Now there was buzz late afternoon when STR tweeted that there was some great news coming. This immediately sparked a talk that it was regarding the rumor that STR-Thala would re-unite for GVM project. However sources now confirm that this great news was about STR's collaboration with Selvaraghavan. Yes fans it's official now STR's next is with Selvaraghavan indeed.

Selvaraghavan to Return his Salary for Irandam Ulagam Loss ?

There was already a buzz going around that Selvaraghavan had agreed to compensate for the Irandam Ulagam loss by Directing another Dhanush starrer free of cost even some industry trackers confirmed the news. Now there is another buzz that Selva has to repay 17.5 crores to PVP cinemas for the Irangam Ulagam debacle. 

It is said that there was an agreement that Selvaraghavan and PVP had agreed to share profit/loss by 50-50% and since the the film's budget is 65 crores, Selva will now repay 17.5 crores to PVP cinemas. The Producers Council President added insult to injury when he said movie like Irandam Ulagam should not be made again and directors should not play with producers money and should direct films which earn profit to producers.

Dhanush & Ranbir Kapoor in Selvaraghavan's Next ?

Fans check out the huge news which is currently being circulated in K"town. Director Selvaraghavan has already started the pre-production works for his next movie, As the ace-director re-stated several times he still holds a contract to do a Bollywood movie and another project in Tollywood. 

According to a leading daily Selva's next is a bilingual in Hindi and Tamil starring his brother Dhanush and Bollywood sensation Ranbir Kapoor. Sources add Fox Star Studios will be producing this illustrious project and an official announcement on this regard will be made soon.

Kollywood insiders have also confirmed that Selva will also be doing a Dhanush starrer for PVP Cinemas or will give dates to another production house suggested by PVP cinemas in order to compensate for Irandam Ulagam loss. 

Selvaraghavan & Dhanush to Compensate for Irandam Ulagam Loss

Selvaraghavan's much anticipated Irandam Ulagam opened to extreme negative reviews, Though some praised the movie for his visual experience, Majority thrashed the movie for being plotless and termed it as total disaster. With this negative word of mouth going viral the movie is expected to face a big loss of around 40 crores, Considering the movie was made at whopping budget of 66 crores. Inorder to recover the huge loss it is said PVP cinemas have already signed a deal with Selva for a film with Dhanush. However there wont be any salary for Selvaraghavan.

Sources add the agreement has already been signed by Selva and PVP Cinemas. If the Dhanush-Selva movie earns profit (that is covering all proposed film's budget + Irandam Ulagam's Loss) Then and only then will Selva get his salary.

Producer Council President's Controversial Comment on Irandam Ulagam

Selvaraghavan's much anticipated Irandam Ulagam is definitely the most debated topic in Kollywood currently, Never as a movie got such extreme comments, while some are praising the movie for visual extravaganza others are thrashing the movie for its poor storyline and execution.

Tamil Film's Producer Council President Keyar also jumped on the Irandam Ulagam bandwagon with a controversial comment. Keyar who attended the audio and trailer launch of Madha Yanaai Kootam said recently a corporate produced a film worth of 66 crores(The Total budget of Irandam Ulagam) but instead of doing such films they can probably give more chance to newcomers. Keyar also added that the Producer's council will start regulating the production methodology of Corporates in Tamil Cinema.

Selvaraghavan disappointed with Anirudh's Background work in Irandam Ulagam ?

Director Selvaraghavan's Irandam Ulagam opened to mixed reaction today, Never before as a movie been getting such extreme comments, One section of the crowd were all praises for the sheer visual magic in the movie terming it a Selvaraghavan Masterpiece while the other section thrashed the movie for being plot-less. All Leading entertainment portals awarded the movie with just 3 stars.

Director Selvaraghavan was however totally unfaced by the mixed response and was in a sort of re-tweet frenzy. In one of the several RT's done by the ace director there was this tweet
