Fans here is the latest buzz on Ajith's film with Gautham Menon 

• Till date it was unofficially confirmed that Anirudh Ravichander will be the composer for Thala 55, However there is currently a buzz that Harris Jayaraj has been roped in as the music director for Thala 55. There were earlier reports that Harris Jayaraj was actually signed up for Thala 58 with K.V Anand. There is no official confirmation on the report yet.
• There is also a another report that Deepika Padukone has been signed as the lead actress for Thala 55 and has reportedly being a paid a remuneration of 7 crores. Anushka Shetty who was earlier the front-runner for the role has been dropped for reasons unknown.

How much did Deepika Demand to pair up with Vijay ?

Deepika Padukone is now the highest paid actress in all of India after delivering four back-to-back blockbusters in 2013 - Race 2, Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Ram Leela. The actress is reportedly being paid a whopping 12 Crores for each of her Bollywood projects.

It was at this juncture that the makers of Vijay 58 approached Deepika to be the leading lady of their fantasy entertainer, Deepika however shocked the team by demanding an astronomical figure to star alongside Vijay. Sources add the actress quoted Rs 1 Crore per day for a 30 days Call Sheet !

Which means the actress quoted a whooping 30 crores which is almost double the pay Ilayathalapathy Vijay receives. There is no logical way that a Kollywood movie could make profit if it offered 30 Crores as remuneration for the female lead alone.

Sources sources add, Deepika quoted such an unusual demand as she wasn't keen on signing a Tamil project at a time when she was ruling the roost in Bollywood.

There is currently a hot buzz going around about Vijay 58 with Chimbu Devan. The makers of this big budgeted fantasy film have reportedly approached the Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone to be the leading lady of the film. So far Deepika has just been part of one south Indian project in Superstar's Kochdaiyaan. 

Vijay 58 will be produced by Thameens and P.T.Selvakumar the long time P.R.O of Vijay. There was a early buzz which linked up the other leading lady of Bollywood Priyanka Chopra to the same project. 

Superstar's Kochadaiyaan Postponed Again !

Superstar's Kochadaiyaaan which was initially scheduled for release on Pongal alongside Jilla and Veeram  has now been officially postponed. Originally spelled as Kochadaiyaan, the film was renamed (with an extra "i") for numerological reasons, There is also a buzz that another villain character of Superstar is being added to the movie to make it even more interesting and hence the delay.
