Surya in Venkat Prabhu's Next !!

The biggest buzz currently going around in K-town is that, Surya has been roped into star in Venkat Prabhu's Next. The ace director already has a huge blockbuster with Thala Ajith in Mankatha and was supposed to direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay in Biriyani only to be replaced by Karthi. Now the latest buzz is that Surya who will complete the Lingusamy flick by March will begin Venkat Prabhu movie by April 2014.

Sources add Surya was impressed by VP's one line script and has offered to produce it under his D2 Entertainment production banner. Official announcement and other cast details are expected after the release of Biriyani.

Reliable Kollywood tracker Sreedhar Pillai has confirmed the news with this tweet

Within Minutes Sreedhar Pillai made the tweet, Director Venkat Prabhu came out and clarified that only talks are underway and nothing is confirmed
