Is Nayanthara still in love with Prabhu Deva ?

Nayanthara's relationship with Prabhu Deva is a well documented one, The much-hyped relationship however came to an end quite sometime back. But looks like Prabhu Deva's name still makes Nayanthara blush.

Nayanthara and Udhayanidhi Stalin were recently on special show in Vijay TV promoting their Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal. During the conversation, Udhay while talking about the tough dance steps in the movie said he wasn't Prabhu Deva to dance such steps with ease. As soon as Udhay mentioned the name Prabhu Deva, Nayanthara was all in smiles and couldn't stop blushing.

It's worth mentioning that Nayan had similar reaction during a award ceremony, When STR her ex-boyfriend performed the song Loose Penne from their Vallavan movie. Is Nayanthara is still in love with the choreographer turned director ?

Actor, Choreographer and now Director Prabhu Deva was in trouble lately over the title of his latest film Action Jackson. Hollywood studio Warner Bros claimed copyright infringement has an 1988 Hollywood film released with the same name and hence the asked Prabhu Deva and his team to change the title as Action Jackson is registered by them for the sub-continent as well. 

Prabhu Deva is however in no mood to change the title and said there was reason why his film is called Action Jackson.

"We named the film Action Jackson because our hero Ajay Devgan is known as 'AJ' and we thought it would be a good idea to use the initials and extend it into the title Action Jackson as Ajay is doing both action and dancing in the film." 

"It isn't like Rambo Rajkumar where 'Rambo' was a patented name by the Hollywood studio. How can anyone claim copyright over the words 'action' and 'Jackson'? And since the word 'Jackson' is in my title for the dancing, we might have (late pop legend) Michael Jackson's family claiming copyright violation. We can't just keep giving in like this for every title."

"I had never heard of a Hollywood film titled Action Jackson. Didn't it come 25 years ago? So many films are titled Romeo & Juliet. Should Shakespeare's family sue?"

I Can forgive STR but not Prabhu Deva - Nayanthara

There is currently a huge buzz going that Nayanthara has said she may even forgive STR, But she can never forgive Prabhu Deva. With Nayanthara sharing screen space with STR for Pandiraj movie, this led to rumors that Nayanthara might team up with Prabhu Deva in near future.

STR and Nayan were in a serious relationship before things fizzled out due to various reasons.On the other hand, Nayan's relationship with Prabhu Deva was on the verge of marriage and had even converted to Hinduism but their marriage never took place leaving Nayan bitterly disappointed.

When asked if she would work with Prabhu Deva again, Nayan is reportedly to have said that she could forgive Simbu but she can never forgive Prabhu Deva.

There is buzz currently going around that Nayanthara will be playing the lead in the upcoming Bollywood project of Prabhu Deva. Nayan who has accepted to join hands with her ex STR for Pandiyaraj movie is now reported to re-open yet another old account with Prabhu Deva.

With both Nayan and Prabhu being single after turning at odds to each other, we have to see if something is going to rekindle. Is Nayan going to re-open the old account or will it be just professional connection? 

It's worth mentioning that when Nayan was quizzed in a recent interview if she had removed the Prabhu Tattoo on her hand, Her reply was this "I haven't - it's still there in the same place. As of now, I am planning to keep it".

Why is Prabhu Deva Homeless ?

It's known that actress Sri Devi's Apartment had recently caught fire on December 21st. Though her entire family was safely escorted from the house the fire burnt the entire house living them homeless. Actor Prabhu Deva who was  renting in Green Acres Building in Andheri to Sridevi, who is the owner of the flat has returned his apartment to Sridevi.

Sources add that  "When Prabhu heard Sri Devi and her family were staying in different places because their bungalow caught fire, he immediately offered the actress her apartment. He had been staying on rent at Sri's flat for a couple of years. And he just felt it was right for him to give her the flat back so that she and her family are not inconvenienced.'' 

Director and Actor Prabhu Deva however did not account for his own housing ways as this has left him currently homeless. The actor who has his permanent home in Chennai and all these years has only been living on rent in Mumbai. To avoid being roofless the actor over the few days was  was travelling to Chennai and Mysore. And he is expected back in Mumbai tomorrow. Sources add his friends are very desperately looking out for the actor to shift to when he returns to Mumbai on Jan 4. Actress Sridevi and her family who travelled to Maldives for their new year break are slowly getting their furniture and other belongings back into the Green Acres apartment and have started living there.

Prabhu Deva answers to the Zero Rating and His Movie being branded the worst film of 2013

Prabhu Deva's R..Rajkumar starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha was released last friday. The movie received a decent opening, But it was the critics who made the movie a headliner, This action flick was absolutely thrashed by the critics who awarded the movie just one stars and some even gave zero rating to it. http://ssmusictheblog.blogspot.in/2013/12/prabhu-devas-film-rated-zero-marks-and.html Amidst all the critical review, the film went on to be the highest grossing movie of Shahid Kapoor beating his previous Kaminey.  The Director was recently quizzed by The Times Of India for the severe rating his movie was subjected to, Here is what he had to say 

I can understand some people like a film, some don't and I respect everyone's views. But there was a lot of criticism when the film had just released. Then Friday, Saturday, Sunday saw a good response at the box office and then when the film was holding well even on Monday, Tuesday and thereafter, we felt why was there so much criticism, especially in Mumbai. If a film is really bad, even we can make out with our years of experience. But here, the audiences are clapping, whistling, laughing... I was so thrilled when I quietly went to theatres and saw it myself.For us, audience is God.

We make films for them and they have proved once again that they love entertainment. I just feel that if people write about a film then they should also write about audience's response.The claps Shahid Kapoor gets during his entry and then throughout the film is amazing and for me, it's important that my hero is accepted because the rest will follow.

Prabhu Deva's Film rated Zero Marks and branded Worst Film of 2013

Prabhu Deva's R..Rajkumar starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha which released last week has hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons. B'Town has absolutely thrashed this flick branding it as the worst film of 2013. Indian Express reviewed the movie with zero marks and said it was easily the worst film of the year. Zee News made the most severe comment by asking the audiences to watch the film only if they really hated themselves. NDTV rated the movie with one star.

From the mounting criticism that seem to arise for the movie, it's clear that the fans have certainly had enough of 90's Telugu style movie that Prabhu Deva so dearly creates in Bollywood  !!
