A Boxing Match between Jiiva, Siva & Jayam Ravi

Siva Karthikeyan's Maan Karate is currently the most trending video on Youtube India, The album has already been declared a chartbuster and the expectations for the movie is sky high, Now here is an interesting connect between the upcoming movies of Siva, Jeyam Ravi and Jiiva.

Well, It's already a known fact that Siva Karthikeyan plays a boxer who hails from north chennai in Maan Karate and Jayam Ravi also plays north chennai boxer in Boologam. Now what's even more interesting is that Jiiva upcoming film Yaan which is debut directorial for Cinematographer Ravi K.Chandran also features the lead actor Jiiva reprising the role of a boxer. Which means Siva Karthikeyan, Jeyam Ravi and Jiiva's upcoming films all have them playing the role of Boxer.

Maan Karate is targeting a Holiday release around April end or May, while Boologam is currently slated for April release while there is no clear release date regarding Yaan.

Why Jiiva rejected Shankar's Ai ?

Actor Jiiva who registered a successful comeback with Endrendrum Punnagai is currently into Yaan by Director turned Cinematographer Ravi K.Chandran. Actor Jiiva in recent interview revealed he was supposed to play the antagonist role in Shankar's upcoming movie Ai.

Jiiva said "After the release of Nanban movie, Shankar sir was busy with the script of his film (Ai) He had already proposed the main role of Vikram and was looking for another lead actor to play the villain role in the movie. Shankar Sir suddenly approached me and offered me to do the antagonist role in the film. But unfortunately i had prior committments at that time and i was unable to accept Shankar sir's offer. Moreover i was personally a bit hesitant to play the villain role has i received mixed response for my previous try Singam Puli. Shankar Sir then opted an actor from Bollywood (Upen Patel) to play the same role."

Jiiva Talks about Jilla & Veeram

Actor Jiiva who is celebrating his 30th birthday today organized a press meet of sorts to thank the press and media members for their contribution in his personal life and for the success of his Endrendrum Punnagai.

Jiiva said he has become a producer through Jilla and thanked his dad for making him one and added like the numerous fans he is also waiting for Jilla and to the question of why the trailer has not yet been released, Jiiva said they wanted to create more expectations and that's why the teasers were being released.

Jiiva also revealed that Vijay Anna and his entire family called him today to wish for his Birthday and told him that they had seen Endrendrum Punnagai and it was really good. 

Jiiva also said that except him everyone else had seen Jilla and they were very happy with the result. The Birthday boy also added that Ajith's Veeram is also releasing and it should also do good. Jiiva explained further stating even his Endrendrum Punnagai was released alongside Biriyani but both the movie team were like family. 

Jiiva also added that he had noticiced some Vijay and Ajith fans being very hot in social media regarding each other movies, Jiiva said it should be healthy and concluded stating both Jilla and Veeram have to be success.
